Romping in the City
Being comfortable is just as important as being on point with style, or at least it is for me. When I was in my 20's I would often buy something, or wear something because it was "in style" and it took me a few years to realize that what was "in" wasn't always for me. I would always read in magazines that this was common, and that many found "their style" when they reached their 30's. I never believed it, until I was in my 30's....funny how that works.
Regardless, from my late 20's on I have continued to perfect and fine tune my style and these past few years I feel like I have best understanding of what works best for me. Rompers are one of those things, and I adore them. They follow my mantra of effortless chic, are comfortable and can easily be dressed up or down. Most of the rompers I have are sleeveless, so when I saw this long sleeved number I was instantly drawn to it for spring since evenings can still be a bit chilly.
The ruffle detail and keyhole opening were my favorite part of this piece, such a feminine detail and just sassy enough to balance out the short leg.
I hope you had a great weekend and that your Monday is off to a good start!
