As some of you may have seen last week on Instagram we were hunkered down for a Nor'Easter over at the Cliff House in conjunction with a video shoot that we were doing with them for their upcoming winter marketing campaign. And as you also might know the Cliff House is one of my all time favorite hotel properties - especially in the winter. With all their fireplaces, cozy seating areas, spa, fitness center and cliff top hot tub it is the ultimate winter getaway location.
Not to mention the delicious food and amazing cocktail and wine list at their restaurant, The Tiller.
Truly a treat to stay there and we were thrilled that they hosted us for a few fun filled days of shooting and relaxing nights in our oceanfront room.
I'll have a full blog post next week recapping the entire experience, but first I wanted to chat about this dress which I have actually rented a few times now because I loved it so much. The material is super thick, in fact, it almost feels like neoprene - so it's incredibly warm and the ruffle detail on the shoulder and down the front really help take it to the next level.
Both times I have worn it I received compliments on how unique it is - so if you are looking for something for an upcoming winter wedding, cocktail party or even formal event I would highly suggest this dress.
Since we were going out for a dinner date I kept it pretty casual pairing it with my Bait Bag Clutch and over the knee boots - but the last time I wore this number it was for a cocktail party and it was easy to dress up with heels and a few pieces of statement jewelry.
What pieces do you find are easiest to dress up and down? I'm always looking to add more versatile items to my wardrobe :)
