As many of your know I adore Rent the Runway Unlimited, it's seriously been life changing for me (and my shopping habit), and very spoiling. I am so used to designer pieces now that it's honestly becoming an issue, but I mean can you really blame me? Being able to have designer pieces delivered to your door, keeping them for as long as you want and then sending them back for more. Why didn't I think of this business model?!
Take this gorgeous mesh & floral applique dress from Nicole Miller for example - absolutely stunning, but not something I would wear more than a few times. So having it for a few weeks was absolute perfection. I wore it to a black tie optional Masquerade Ball at the Portland Art Museum and the next weekend I wore it out for a date night in Boston with the husband. Then I sent it back and have more pieces arriving this week just in time for our upcoming trip to the Grand Caymans (which btw I am so pumped about).
The detailing on this dress was impeccable - it's tough to see in the photos but intertwined in the floral applique were tiny rhinestones which literally glistened in the sun. And with the empire waist and tea length...this dress was absolutely one of the most elegant and classic pieces I have received.
Cheers to Thursday & Friday (and our vacation) being just around the corner.
