72 Hours in NYC
I absolutely love New York City, I could never live there...but I absolutely enjoy visiting. Especially when we are spoiled silly by Kimpton Hotels.
This most recent trip was to celebrate the husband's birthday, a big one...the big three five! As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by a comp upgrade to a suite at the Hotel Eventi, champagne and custom cupcakes. I wish I could take credit for this, but it was all the Inner Circle status that snagged us these goodies (thanks Kimpton). After taking in our amazing city view and toasting the sunset we headed out for dinner at The Vine (which was on point with decor, cuisine & craft cocktails) followed by rooftop drinks late into the evening at The Upstairs.
The next day we got our butts in gear with a spin class at Swerve (snagging first and second place in the team riding style of the studio - which we loved btw) and strolled through Bryant park with our smoothies which Swerve had waiting for us on our way out of class. After a refresh we brunched with an old friend at Blue Stone Lane, where we enjoyed quite possibly the best lattes ever, and spent the rest of the afternoon wandering the Highline.
Night #2 we headed out with friends to Top of the Strand and ended up staying out way past our normal bedtime celebrating & noshing on yummy late night bites... gotta love NYC food delivery!
On Sunday the husband headed home early and I spent the rest of the afternoon and evening with my bestie who was in town for work. Thanks to her I continued to be spoiled silly at The Quin with a penthouse suite, private terrace and welcome Cosmos which were the perfect SATC style cheers to a girls day and night out on the town before an early AM flight the next morning.
The weekend, as always, went by way too fast...but it was worth every minute of lost sleep!
